The Jacob tribulation sequence
This is part of the 3 and 1 - tribulation link - Earthly Support Study
Jacob & Rachael
The 3 in 1 combination link… - This link is an easy one it points us to how the good shepard cares for his sheep especially when they are in trouble.
Genesis 29: 2 And he looked, and saw a well in the field; and behold, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of
that well they watered the flocks. A large stone was on the well’s
mouth.
8 But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered
together, and they have rolled the stone from the well’s mouth; then
we water the sheep.”
9 Now while he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a
shepherdess.
10 And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his
mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother,
that Jacob went near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and
watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.
Jacob rolls away the stone from the well of water.
They were waiting for the shepherds to come remove the stone but Jacob
rolls the stone all by himself. He exhibits great strength here as a
strongman. We will come back to this thought later.
Jacob serves 7 years for Rachael gets Leah instead and serves another 7
years for Rachael. Leah is fruitful Rachael is Barren. This is similar
to Potiphar’s two 7 year dreams in the story of Josephs
exaltation, the first 7 years is fruitful and the second 7 years of
famine are referred to as a blasting east wind (3x see Genesis
41:6,23,27) or are barren. At the end of time two woman will wrestle
(Genesis 30:8)
as did those two sisters! those who take the mark and those who keep Gods Holy law.
There will be seen two 7’s or weekly cycles, the 7th day
Sabbath and the false day of rest Sunday, the day that the whole world
keeps and forces by coercion.
Revelation 13:3-4, 8,11-18, Matthew 15:9

Genesis 29:18-31
18 And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter. 19 And Laban said, It is better that I give her to thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with me. 20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her. 21 And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. 22 And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast. 23 And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her. 24 And Laban gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his maid for an handmaid. 25 And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me? 26 And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. 27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years. 28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also. 29 And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid. 30 And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years. 31 And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.
Jacob a type of Christ selects speckeled and spotted sheep (sinners)... Jesus wants us to come to Him just as we are, salvation for the chief of sinners was His theme!
Genesis 29:32-33
32 Let me pass through all your flock today, removing from there all the speckled and spotted sheep, and all the black ones among
the lambs, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and these shall be
my wages. 33 So my righteousness will answer for me in time to come, when
the subject of my wages comes before you: every one that is not speckled
and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, will be considered
stolen, if it is with me.”
Come out of her my people - Revelation 18:4
Genesis 31:13
13 I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made
a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of
your family.’ ”
The Sisters are united
. Zephaniah 2 talks about how God is going to gather His people at the end
of time (Zephaniah 2:1-2 gather together oh nation not desired, Hosea 1:11, Revelation 18:4, Jeremiah 16:19). The whole chapter of Zephaniah tells how God is going to free
His people. It also talks about the enemies of the Lord, the Assyrian (a
type of the papacy see Isaiah 33:1) and has many links to
Daniel 11:41,43. Zephaniah 2:15 has a link to Revelation 18:7 this is
talking about the same powers. See also: Lamentations 1:12, Isaiah 17:13,
Zephaniah 3:8
Whatever He says to you do it.
This is the attitude of the people of the Lord coming together at the end
of time. This was the attitude of Mary the mother of Jesus at the marriage
feast.
14 Then Rachel and Leah answered and said to him, “Is there still any
portion or inheritance for us in our father’s house? 15 Are we not
considered strangers by him? For he has sold us, and also completely
consumed our money. 16 For all these riches which God has taken from our
father are really ours and our children’s; now then, whatever God has
said to you, do it.”
Those who perpetrate the mark
of the beast will end up desolate while Gods people will be hidden in the
pavilion of the Almighty. Their bread and water will be sure

Genesis 32:7,24-32 –
Jacobs time of trouble is symbolic of those who struggle with God for
grace at the end of the world and are surrounded by their enemies. It represents the prayer life we must have and the strong and living connection with heaven we must have in place when the final test comes on all the world. Remember jacob was a strong man but his true strength was his desire to claim the promises of God and overcome in the power of Christ. We must have this experiance daily as we see the time approaching that is to test all the world. The stakes are high and many will not have the tanacity to succeed and overcome. If we come up to this time and are found wanting we shall not have the spiritual strngth to get through the trial. The bible tells us all the world will "wander"
Jacobs time of trouble also represents two classes that have existed and shall exist, till the end of time. Those who love God and His commandments and serve Him. And those who consider God and His commandments to be a burden and persecute His people just as Esau did. The Bible calls Esau a profane person Hebrews 12:16, Romans 9:13.
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. 29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. 31 And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh. 32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew that shrank.

God punished Jacob for his sin of deceiving Esau but forgave him and
freely blessed him
A very important point is that in the end
Jacob who was a strong man was touched on his thigh and walked with a limp
Genesis 32:24-32. God was letting him know that He was the one who was going to give him
shelter from his enemies here on out, and take care of him. The essence of this is seen as Gods
people wrestle at the end of time to obtain the victory and God lets them
know that He is the one who will shelter them from the wicked, and comes to their rescue
at just the right time and brings a blessing with Him
Not one thread of human devising will get us through the Sunday law!

The Lord saves Jacob in so many ways, just as he will us if we let Him... mainlly by
teaching him to trust and rely on Him. Jacob was made lame during the night of wrestling and had to walk with a cane after that. When Esau offered to escort Jacob, Notice Genesis 33:12-15 Jacob told him that there was no need for him to lead because there were woman and children and they needed to be led gently. Jacob is a type of Christ here! When Esau offered to give him some of his men as protection Jacob turned it down showing that his trust was was firmlly rooted in God at this point. No more trying to help God or human devising, Jacob relies totally on the good shepard...Jesus.
Jacobs time of trouble – During the mark of the beast and the
first four plagues, the righteous are in jeopardy and persecuted by those
who have taken the mark. Gods people will struggle with Him in prayer to
free them from their enemies as did Jacob, and will obtain grace and victory
in the end. They will show complete faith, trust and reliance on god as did Jacob!
The Lord will be the one who saves them, even though the whole world is against them
and the outlook seems hopeless, God will glorify Himself and exalt his people.
The enemies of the Lord will fall into the net that they prepaired for the righteous and
will destroy each other.

Jeremiah 30:4-10
4 And these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel and
concerning Judah.
5 For thus saith the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and
not of peace.
6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I
see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all
faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time
of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I
will
break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and
strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I
will raise up unto them.
10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be
dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from
the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest,
and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
